Thomas M. Todoran is a graduate of Indiana University School of Medicine. He trained in internal medicine at Duke University Hospital, cardiology fellowship at Barnes Jewish Hospital and interventional fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital. 

He joined the faculty at Medical University of South Carolina in 2010 where he serves as the Director of Vascular Medicine and Intervention and Director of Cardiology Clinical Trials. Dr. Todoran is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Surgery in the Departments of Cardiovascular Medicine and Vascular Surgery. 

He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions and Society of Vascular Medicine.  His primary clinical and research interests are endovascular treatment of vascular diseases.

His term as South Carolina Chapter ACC Councilor serves January 2023 - March 2026.
