Chetan Patel, MD, grew up in Anderson, SC and always knew he wanted to come back to the upstate of SC. Patel attended the University of South Carolina in Columbia for his undergraduate education and received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. Dr. Patel briefly left SC to complete my Internal Medicine Residency at the the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA and then returned to SC to complete his clinical cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at MUSC.

After completing training, he joined Carolina Cardiology Consultants, now part of Prisma Health - Upstate. Patel currently serve as the Medical Director for the Cardiac Cath lab.
