Take Action! Help Repeal CON in South Carolina
SC-ACC colleagues,
Please take a moment to send a letter to your state representative that sits on the House Ways and Means Committee. A hearing has been scheduled for April 19th where the subcommittee will vote on CON repeal legislation. It passed the full Senate with bipartisan support. CON has not achieved its intended result and has negatively impacted the cost of healthcare for South Carolinians. Competition would positively affect skyrocketing healthcare prices as the artificial restriction of supply leads to high prices. We believe the repeal of CON would result in lower prices and more access to care for South Carolina patients. Thank you for your support.
